Our guarantee covers serious hereditary or congenital conditions including but not limited to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy HCM Progressive Retinal Atrophy PRA Polycystic Kidney Disease PKD and other life altering genetic defects. Should a qualifying condition be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian within the outlined timeframe we will provide a comparable replacement kitten at no additional cost.

In the event that HCM is diagnosed before your kitten reaches three years of age and veterinary treatment is required we will contribute R1000 toward documented medical expenses as part of our continued support.

If a severe genetic condition results in loss within the first year following adoption a replacement kitten of similar breed and value will be offered at no charge. Additionally if a licensed veterinarian identifies a minor treatable condition within 42 hours of adoption reimbursement for reasonable treatment costs may be provided.

Please note that routine and preventive care including vaccinations deworming schedules and follow up testing is not covered under this limited guarantee. We strongly encourage scheduling a veterinary examination shortly after adoption to establish ongoing care.

While we take every possible step to minimize genetic risk through responsible breeding practices no breeding program can eliminate uncertainty entirely. For this reason we recommend enrolling your kitten in comprehensive pet insurance to help manage unexpected hereditary or medical concerns over time.

All kittens are fully up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and deworming prior to adoption. You will receive complete veterinary records to share with your personal vet along with guidance on maintaining the recommended vaccination schedule moving forward.

In the rare circumstance that a licensed veterinarian confirms a serious genetic condition within three years of adoption one that is not related to environmental factors we will accept the return of the kitten and offer either a replacement kitten or a full refund based on your preference.
